    • Hi there yourself, Tony. I’m very sorry I haven’t been around to answer you ? sooner. I was consumed with taking care of my elderly mother who had severe dementia. She’s gone now and after 2 months of being numb of body and mind, I’m sort of coming out of it. I’ll try to give you a reply now…replacing one meal a day with a balanced shake-one made of healthy foods like fruit, vegetables, nuts or seeds or adding some of one or a combination of them to a protein powder of your choice. Make sure you avoid unhealthy fats, artificial ingredients like sweeteners and sugar. It’s best to try and keep your protein around the 200-300 calorie range and don’t just depend on protein shakes themselves. You should also eat  some vegetables, lean protein, healthy grains and healthy fats. And drink your water-lots of water on and off all day. I don’t drink the same amount every day but I do drink between 6 and ten , 16 ounce glasses everyday. Plus my coffee, hot chocolate made my way (2 teaspoons of non-dairy creamer, i teaspoon dry cocoa, pinch of pure stevia, one quick shake of salt & a few (10) m9icro mini marsh-mellows. Sometimes I toss in some coffee.) It really does help you keep from overt-eating. Since everyone is different, you need to keep an eye on what works for you and what doesn’t, maybe even a journal.
